A solid small business-based economy is essential to the well-being of our community. Local small business owners create job opportunities and diversity in business ownership, build community identity, are more involved with the community and importantly, keep money circulating in our local economy.

The Pamlico Business Resource Center is a 501(3)C not for profit organization formed in November 2021 to improve Beaufort County small business sustainability, job retention and growth. 

Since our inception we have worked with several local small businesses, created job opportunities, provided coaching and business planning help as well as given advice and guidance on business loans and grants – all at no charge to the business owner.

We need to raise $50,000 in annual tax-deductible donations to help cover the costs of ongoing operations at the Center and establish and maintain all business forms, reference libraries and other necessary regulatory tools.
